HOW MUCH DOES THE SCHOOL COST?
The school fees are £2600. This includes the tuition fee, various conference fees and of course the cost of outreach. We do offer optional student accommodation, which includes room and board for £2000.
IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
No there isn’t, anyone aged 18 or over can apply.
WHERE IS THE SCHOOL HELD?
The school will be held at KingsWay Church in Sale, Manchester, UK.
WHAT WILL I DO ABOUT FOOD?
As part of the school, the students will be grocery shopping and cooking for themselves. Should you have chosen to take the offered student accommodation, the weekly grocery money will be paid out of the accommodation fee.
WHAT’S SALE LIKE?
Sale is a beautiful suburb of Manchester with a good tram connection into Manchester, a canal, nice coffee shops and pubs and a little high street.
IS THERE FINANCIAL AID?
As we don’t have a big enough student body yet that can support offering scholarships, we sadly cannot offer that option at this moment in time – however please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or doubts as we don't want money to be the only thing keeping you from coming to the school.
DO I HAVE TO PAY ALL MY FEES AT REGISTRATION?
Yes, all School fees must be paid in full, on or before registration day.
CAN I WORK WHILE AT THE SCHOOL TO SUPPORT MYSELF FINANCIALLY?
The School schedule is demanding and varied and includes evening and weekend commitments, which makes it difficult to allow for permanent employment. iDestiny students are not encouraged to work for the duration of their time at school.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS? HOW MUCH WILL I NEED FOR PERSONAL SPENDING?
There are no hidden fees. However, since you’ll be with us for at least 5 months, you might want to go for coffee every now and then or buy that jacket you’ve been looking for – those are the things you’ll have to pay for yourself. £5 - £10 will be enough for laundry each week, buying essentials such as toiletries and going to see a movie for example.
WHAT’S THE DAILY SCHEDULE LIKE?
At the moment we have some days for teaching (morning and afternoon) and some days for your personal development (time with God, mandatory reading, book reports, sermon preparation), and some evenings church sessions.
HOW MUCH WILL I BE INVOLVED IN THE LOCAL CHURCH?
You’ll be involved in healing rooms, cell groups, conferences and any church services at KingsWay. You will also be placed in different ministries within in church and the school like worship, children, youth etc…
WHAT’S THE ACCOMMODATION LIKE?
Student accommodation differs from school to school depending on how many students we have. We rent different houses which fit between 3-6 people.
CAN I HAVE VISITORS AT THE SCHOOL?
It’s always nice to have friends visiting you at school, seeing how you live and what you are up to. Visitors are allowed to attend the school sessions on request, however accommodation must be arranged by yourself.
IS THERE ANY FREE TIME DURING THE WEEK?
Students have one full day off per week. They may also have one morning or afternoon and a few evenings per week depending on the schedule for that week.

WHAT EXPECTATIONS SHOULD I HAVE TOWARD THE SCHOOL?
The School schedule is full of a variety of different ministry opportunities on both a spiritual and practical level, as well as teaching sessions, worship, small groups, various creative workshops and practical ‘work duties’. Expect to be stretched, surprised and excited about everything God has for you!
WHAT EXPECTATIONS WILL MEET ME AT THE SCHOOL?
Lets be real - this could be a huge list of what we'd like you to behave like. Lots of 'dos and don'ts. And while we do seek to represent Christ fully in our words and actions - all that is born out of a godly character - understanding that we're loved and we can live loving and valuing others. That's why we expect you to participate fully in the life of the school and be open about any difficulties or struggles you may have. If you need a little help on the way, we will come alongside you, to help you draw the best out in you, sometimes even with loving confrontation. To be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion, students must meet the following criteria: 1. Satisfactorily complete course requirements (reading 4-5 Books while in school and write book reports, etc). 2. Active participation in outreach and church life. 3. Class attendance requirements fulfilled …that doesn't sound like too much now, does it?!
WHERE WILL I BE GOING ON OUTREACH?
We will visit several churches to minister and we will go on one mission trip towards the end of the school term.The destination will vary from year to year.
WILL SOMEONE PICK ME UP FROM THE AIRPORT?
If you let us know soon enough in advance we might be able to sort you out with a lift. However, we cannot guarantee that. A taxi from the airport to the student house is approx. £20.
WILL I NEED HEALTH INSURANCE?
If you are European, the NHS is free for you, that means as soon as you’re in the UK, you’ll be covered. However you might want extra coverage and choose to get insured privately. However, you will still need travel insurance if we have an overseas outreach.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SCHOOL?
We are committed to keeping relationship with graduates through different avenues, like Facebook, conferences hosted at KingsWay Church as well as gatherings throughout the year (iGraduate). Also you might be interested in an internship at KingsWay Church or another ministry.
